MARSHALL COMMUNITY BAND
Brooks Fountain in downtown Marshall, Michigan (population 7,000) is located in the center of a traffic circle park at the west end of the business district. Marshall Community Band plays a patriotic concert here each year as part of the town's annual chicken barbeque and 4th of July celebration.
The band performs five of its six summer concerts at the Frances Stevens Stuart Band Shell. The band shell was constructed in 2004 at Stuart's Landing in Marshall on the banks of the Kalamazoo River.
